VISA ON ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENT

Visa on arrival (VOA) is most likely the easiest way to obtain your visa without having to chase down embassies, consulates and the like prior to your trip, and is an alternative when applying for a tourist visa. The entry visa will be stamped on your passport as you pass through immigration checkpoint. With this type of visa, you only can enter the country by air.


Step 1: Provide Your Information
Kindly send us your requested type of VOA with the followings:

  • Scan or Photo of your passport
  • Proposed date of arrival: (this is the date you want your visa to start from. The start date of the visa itself will be the day that you arrive – you may enter Vietnam at a later date – up to your exit date – but not before this date, so be sure to take time zone differences into account)
  • Purpose of visit:

Step 2: Confirm and Pay Service Fee
You will need to confirm our offer on the service, reconfirm the provided information and make payment for our service fee.

Step 3: Get Your Approval Letter
Receive the “Approval Letter” within 2 or 3 working days via email sent by us. Please print out the letter before your departure. Kindly see example here

Step 4: Get Your Visa Stamped
On your arrival, kindly make sure the followings with you to get your visa stamped at one of the Vietnam international airports

  • Application of Entry and Exit Visa (Please download here and fulfill the form)
  • Approval Letter (to be send by us to your email)
  • Your valid passport; and
  • Stamping fee

1. What is “Visa on arrival”?
Answer:Visa on arrival is one of the 2 types of visa. Upon your arrival at any Vietnam international airport, it is stamped right onto your passport. This is the cheapest, quickest and most convenient method to obtain your visa to Vietnam. All you need to do is to request for the service, provide your requested information, pay for the service and you will get your Visa approval letter within 2-3 working days. Finally you can obtain your visa when you land at the airport of arrival.

2. What documents do I need to prepare to enter Vietnam using Visa on arrival?
Answer:After you arrive at Vietnam’s airport, you will need the following to obtain Visa on arrival and enter Vietnam:

  • Application of Entry and Exit Visa (Please download here and fulfill the form)
  • Approval Letter (to be send by us to your email)
  • Your valid passport
  • 2 your recent photos (2″ x 2″ or 4cm x 6cm)
  • Stamping fee (absolutely vital that you have your visa fee(s) on you, in cash)

3. What information is required to process my visa-on-arrival?
Answer:

  • Your full name (in the exact order they appear in the passport)
  • Present nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Occupation
  • Passport number
  • Passport date of issue
  • Passport expiry date

4. Do I need to scan/take a photo my passport?
Answer: No. Passport scanning is NOT necessary but RECOMMENDED to avoid mistake while key in information.

5. What if my passport expired?
Answer:To obtain a visa to Vietnam, your passport must have the validity of at least 1 month for 1 month single entry visa. Thus, your passport needs to be renewed before you apply for Vietnam Visa.

6. Do I need to provide the precise date of arrival?
Answer:No, not necessary. You need to provide your proposed date of arrival

7. What is “Approval letter”?
Answer:Approval Letter is the document released by Vietnam Immigration Department with which you can enter and exit Vietnam for a particular period of time. You can use this letter to obtain your visa at one of the three Vietnam international airports: Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi; Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang; or Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

8. How can I receive my “Approval letter”?
Answer:The Approval letter will be scanned in color and sent to you via email, so please ensure that you give us the right email address.

10. Can I use this approval letter to enter Vietnam by land?
Answer:No, you cannot. It is for AIR arrival at Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi or Da Nang airport.

11. What is Stamping fee?
Answer:Visa Stamping fee is the fee directly paid to Immigration Department at your airport of arrival. The fee is collected in order for your visa to get printed out, stamped (or glued) onto your passport and sealed after your visa approval letter is double-checked. Your visa is stamped only when all the information in your approval letter matches that in your passport. Please also ensure that you have your stamping fee with you, in cash.

12. Can I for apply 6-month visa in Vietnam?
Answer: Currently, no support for 6-month visa in Vietnam is available.

13. How long in advance should I apply for a visa?
Answer:No time frame is required in visa application. Although the whole procedure of visa approval takes only 2-3 working days, it is advisable that you apply for a Vietnam visa 1-2 weeks in advance to avoid urgent fee and undesired troubles.
